What CrawlWeb does

Most SEO software was built for specialists who already know which metric matters. CrawlWeb is built for the person responsible for growth: it looks at your website the way a search engine and an AI assistant do, then hands back a short list of changes worth making. Six capabilities do the work, and they share one data model so a finding in the audit becomes a task in the planner without you copying anything between tools.

AI Website Audits are the entry point. Enter any public URL and CrawlWeb crawls the page, extracts the on-page signals that influence ranking, measures live performance, and scores the page across SEO, answer engine optimization and generative engine optimization. Instead of a raw issue dump you get findings grouped by impact, each with the reason it matters and the change to make.

Search Console Insights connect your own Google property through a read-only, per-user authorization. Once connected, queries, clicks, impressions, average position and page-level trends are folded into the analysis, so the platform can tell the difference between a page that is nearly ranking and one nobody has ever seen. That single distinction usually reorders a whole to-do list.

Competitor Intelligence compares your site with the competitors you name. CrawlWeb collects public signals from their pages, lines them up against your latest audit, and reports keyword gaps, missing content formats, structural differences and the quick wins you can ship first. It answers the practical question behind most competitor research: what are they doing that I am not?

Growth Planner turns all of that into a weekly schedule. Tasks are ordered by effort against expected result, so a small team can make steady progress instead of drowning in a backlog. Technical SEO Analysis covers the plumbing — canonicals, indexability, structured data, headings, internal links, image alt text, robots and sitemap coverage, and Core Web Vitals — and AI Recommendations wrap everything in plain language with an estimate attached, so you always know why a task is on the list and what you should expect once it is done.

CrawlWeb vs traditional SEO tools

Classic platforms are excellent at measurement. The gap they leave is decision-making: they rarely tell you which of the 200 flagged issues will move revenue. The table below is a practical comparison of how the two approaches differ in day-to-day work.

How the features work together

A typical first week looks like this. You run an audit on your most important commercial page and read the top five findings. Two are technical — a missing canonical and a slow hero image — and three are content problems, such as a title that does not match the query people actually search for. You fix the technical items the same day because they take minutes, then connect Search Console so the platform can see which queries that page already earns impressions for.

With real query data in place the recommendations sharpen. A page sitting in position eleven for a commercial term is worth far more attention than a page with no impressions at all, and the planner reorders itself accordingly. In week two you add two competitors. The gap report shows they both publish comparison content you do not have, and that they answer buying questions on the page rather than burying them in a knowledge base — a direct AEO advantage. That becomes a content task with an expected result attached.

By week three the loop is running on its own: audit, insight, plan, publish, measure. Each new audit is compared with the last, so progress is visible rather than assumed, and reports can be exported or emailed to whoever needs to see them. That is the difference between owning a reporting tool and running a repeatable growth process — the tool never asks you to decide what matters, because it has already ranked it.

The same loop scales. Agencies run it across many client sites with white-label reports, while a solo founder runs it on one site in an hour a week. Nothing about the workflow changes; only the number of properties does.
