How CrawlWeb collects, uses, stores and protects your information.

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Who we are

CrawlWeb (crawlweb.app) is an AI growth platform that analyses websites for SEO, AEO, GEO and AI Search Visibility and turns the findings into a prioritized action plan. This policy explains what we collect and why. Questions: support@crawlweb.app.

Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address and authentication identifiers
  • Website data: URLs you submit and the public pages we crawl
  • Analysis data: scores, recommendations and generated reports
  • Connected service data: Google Search Console metrics you authorise
  • Usage data: log entries, error reports and basic product analytics

How we use your information

We use your data to run website analyses, generate AI recommendations and reports, deliver the emails and shared links you request, secure and support your account, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data for advertising.

Google user data

If you connect Google Search Console, we request read-only access to your Search Console performance data (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, position, country and device). We use it solely to display your metrics inside CrawlWeb and to generate insights and recommendations for you.

CrawlWeb's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer this data to third parties except as needed to provide the service, and we never use it for advertising or sell it. You can disconnect at any time, which revokes our access; you may also revoke access from your Google Account permissions page.

AI processing

Analysis content and connected metrics may be sent to AI model providers so we can generate explanations and recommendations. Providers process this data only to return a response for your request and are not permitted to use it to train their models.

Storage, retention and security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, and access is restricted by row-level security so you only ever see your own workspace data. We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Delete a project or your account and the associated data is removed.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to operate CrawlWeb — hosting and database, email delivery, performance measurement (Google PageSpeed Insights) and AI model providers — and where required by law. Reports you choose to share publicly are accessible to anyone with the link until you revoke it.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from your settings, or by emailing support@crawlweb.app. You can also withdraw consent for any connected integration.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when this policy changes and revise the date above. For any privacy question or request, contact support@crawlweb.app.
